Diehl Collision of Bellevue in Bellevue, PA is hiring an Automotive Detailer to thoroughly clean interiors and exteriors after collision repairs, buff, polish, and finish vehicles to a showroom-ready state.

You will work alongside experienced collision technicians and estimators in a team-oriented setting, aiming for high‑quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes safe vehicle handling and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, motivated and detail‑oriented person.
• Experience in automotive detailing or vehicle reconditioning preferred.
• Experience in collision center, auto body shop, or dealership is a plus.
• Knowledge of detailing products and equipment.
• Experience with buffing, polishing or paint correction preferred.
• Familiarity with wet sanding and refinishing prep is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Ability to safely operate and move customer vehicles.
• Able to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, around vehicles).
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash and thoroughly clean vehicle exteriors after collision repairs.
• Vacuum and detail interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, and surfaces.
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires and exterior trim.
• Remove dust and polishing residue from repaired vehicles.
• Perform buffing, polishing and light paint correction as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness before customer delivery.
• Remove minor surface imperfections and overspray when appropriate.
• Assist with wet sanding and buffing when qualified.
• Clean door jambs, engine compartments, and other areas.
• Safely move vehicles throughout the collision center and parking areas.
• Assist collision technicians and painters with vehicle prep as needed.
• Maintain detailing equipment, supplies and work areas.
• Follow proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and products.
• Coordinate with collision center management to prepare vehicles for pickup.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
