Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in New York to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing and reassembling vehicles to pre-accident condition. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.
  • Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
  • Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using various tools.
  • Hammers out dents and applies filler resins where needed; realigns chassis and replaces parts.
  • Welds and attaches parts, prepares and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
  • Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
