Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Collibra Engineer, Mid to design and implement Collibra workflows that support data governance in the health care sector. You will work with the data governance team to enable trusted data across the client environment, focusing on data catalogs, classifications, and secure data sharing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply best-practice RBAC and IAM principles, and integrate Collibra with enterprise systems via REST APIs and cloud platforms

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data security, data governance, information security or data engineering role.
• 1+ years of experience with technical implementation of data catalog platforms.
• Experience with data classification, sensitive data, PII, and data protection requirements.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience with cloud data environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Collibra concepts including Data Catalogs, Data Governance, Workflows, APIs, and integrations.
• Knowledge of RBAC, IAM, authentication, authorization, and least-privilege security principles.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Collibra Workflow specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Collibra workflows to support data governance processes for our client in the health care industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance concepts and experience implementing workflows in Collibra, along with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and related data management challenges.

The data governance team will serve as a key influencer and champion to introducing, maintaining, and driving adoption of data governance standards across the organization. Your strong analytical mindset, exceptional business acumen, effective communication skills, and operational excellence will help drive progress and results on our data governance initiatives. Furthermore, your data governance skills and experience will greatly support our mission to enable the business and technical with the right data.

You Have

• 2+ years of experience in data security, data governance, information security or data engineering role
• 1+ years of experience with technical implementation of data catalog platforms
• Experience working with data classification, sensitive data, PII, and data protection requirements
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise system integrations
• Experience with cloud data environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Groovy
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Experience developing governance automation and security controls at enterprise scale
• Knowledge of data privacy and security frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI DSS

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
