Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Charlotte, NC seeks a L1/L2 support engineer for Collibra Data Quality and related data governance tasks. You will monitor health, run jobs, and manage platform performance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, tuning PostgreSQL, developing Python automation, and integrating REST APIs, with collaboration across infra, security, and application teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Collibra Data Quality administration and L1/L2 production support
• PostgreSQL administration and development experience, including query tuning, indexing, backup, recovery, and capacity management.
• Python development experience for automation, operational utilities, reporting, metadata extraction, and bulk rule/job management.
• Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills across enterprise application environments.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, including JSON, XML, OAuth, authentication tokens, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience supporting Linux/Unix environments, schedulers such as Autosys or Control-M, CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
• Functional understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance, Metadata Management, platform operations, production incident management, and compliance support

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for Collibra Data Quality platform, including monitoring platform health, job execution, scheduling, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, application issues, API failures, platform outages, and database-related problems.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases used by the platform, including performance tuning, SQL scripting, backup/recovery, archiving, and maintenance.
• Design and develop Python automation scripts for onboarding, monitoring, reporting, migrations, platform administration, and operational efficiency.
• Implement and support integrations using Collibra DQ APIs and enterprise REST APIs.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, release deployments, environment provisioning, and tenant onboarding.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, database, application, and business teams to maintain platform stability and support audit/compliance requests.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, support procedures, operational documentation, and participate in modernization or engineering improvements initiatives.
