Job summary

HMG AMERICA LLC is seeking a Collibra Developer for our data governance team in the US. You will build and maintain workflows, configure model domains, and script logic inside the Collibra SaaS environment. This is hands-on configuration, not on-prem admin.

You will work with data stewards and business teams to translate governance needs into working solutions, and you’ll support SaaS release testing to ensure stability after upgrades.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of software/data development experience, with at least 4+ years hands-on in Collibra.
• Solid experience with Collibra Workflow Designer and BPMN.
• Comfortable writing Groovy and using the Collibra Java API.
• Experience with Collibra's REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of core governance concepts - stewardship, policy management, data ownership.
• Good communication. You'll be translating between business governance needs and technical config.

Responsibilities

• Build and update workflows in Collibra Workflow Designer (BPMN) approvals, notifications, issue management etc
• Write Groovy scripts and use the Java API for custom logic inside workflows
• Configure and maintain the operating model domains, communities, asset types, attribute types, statuses
• Automation would be an added advantage
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and fix model configuration problems
• Work directly with data stewards and business teams to turn governance requirements into working solutions
• Support quarterly SaaS release testing and validate that workflows/model still behave correctly after Collibra-managed upgrades
