University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for UNLV TV Manager/Producer in the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies. The role manages UNLV TV, oversees the video production facility and productions, while coordinating with campus and community partners on funded media projects and client delivery.

The position requires a Master’s degree and 3–5 years of broadcast/video production experience and includes teaching one undergraduate video journalism course each semester,

Formación

• Master’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Media Studies, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 3–5 years of experience in broadcast/video production preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage UNLV TV and oversee the operation of the video production facility and professional and student video productions.
• Coordinate with campus and community partners to create funded media projects and oversee budgeting and resource allocation.
• Supervise staff, schedule crew, procure equipment, organize field shoots, and coordinate post production to deliver projects to clients.
• Teach one undergraduate video journalism course each semester and collaborate with JMS director on facility upgrades and invoicing clients.
