KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a College Transition Advisor to guide high school seniors toward college or a rigorous postsecondary path. You will collaborate with counselors, schedule advising sessions, monitor progress, and provide summer enrollment support as students move into their first semester of college.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience helping college students, especially first‑generation/minority/low‑income.
• Strong coaching and active listening skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with data tracking and reporting in education settings.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the successful transition of high school seniors into college, training, and careers.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families, college and financial aid advisors, and staff.
• Support college-going culture through targeted advising for seniors.
• Advise alumni on postsecondary enrollment, financial aid, and required forms.
• Plan and execute college exposure visits and family education events.
• Maintain and update alumni data and track enrollment progress.
