Job summary

Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program invites students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in CS, engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, or related field to join a hands-on, paid summer internship in a leading investment firm.

You will work on security strategy, risk mitigation and digital ethics, while applying Agile and LEAN methodologies and receiving mentor guidance from professionals. Start date May/June 2027, with hybrid work arrangements in place.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations.
• Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0+ preferred

As part of the Analyst track, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping Vanguard safe day in and day out Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program is an immersive, hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading investment firms. Extensive training, real-world experience, hands-on opportunities and mentorship from professionals will all aid in broadening your technical expertise. You’ll receive exposure to the software life cycle and positively impact our clients through exciting assignments. Make it count!

In this internship you will:

What it takes

• In pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
• Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
• Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment
