Job summary

Northeast Texas Community College is seeking a College Store Course Material Specialist to support daily bookstore operations. You will purchase course materials, textbooks, kits, and uniforms while aiding the Inclusive Access program and ensuring excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience.
• Excellent communication skills, well-organized, and customer-service oriented.
• Able to multi-task and handle interruptions.
• Critical thinking.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfortable using advanced formulas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, and lift books for up to 10 hours with few breaks during busy times.

College Store Course Material Specialist

The Course Material Specialist assists in all daily operations for the Bookstore and is responsible for purchasing Course materials and program needs, including textbooks, kits, and uniforms. Assists with managing the Inclusive Access program. The Course Material Specialist should have excellent customer service skills.
