Job summary

Macomb Community College in Clinton Charter Township seeks an Assistant Sports Information Coordinator to assist in publicizing athletic events and maintaining team information. Qualifications

• Must be a current Macomb Community College student taking at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have a work-study award from Financial Aid.
• Knowledge of basketball, baseball or softball.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as schedule dictates.
• Willingness to help out and be flexible with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Update athletic website, including schedules, rosters, student athlete bios, coach bios, news pages, etc.
• Coordinate team, individual, and action photographs for publicity purposes
• Update Hall of Fame members
• Have beginning inventory report filled out if a host bar is offered. Secure team statistics
• Gather information for publications (Media Guide, Year in Review, Handbook, Camp Brochures, etc) Serve as liaison for SAAC
• Assist with event preparation (home events, banquets, golf outings, etc) Perform data entry
• Perform related duties as assigned.
