Job summary

Instructors will develop and assess course content in alignment with PBSC’s standards and participate in program evaluation and college activities.

Daily duties vary with teaching assignments, and evening/weekend availability is required to accommodate the college schedule and student access across Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English/Communications/Lang. Arts or TESOL.
• 9 graduate semester hours in English, Communications, Developmental Education, Language Arts, Composition, Rhetoric, or TESOL.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices.
• Analyzes class and program needs; determines course retention/deletion.
• Develops and coordinates program/course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
• Assist students and program reviews and articulation activities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
