Overview

An established Walnut and Hacienda Heights based AP/SAT Prep / college planning center is seeking experienced and passionate college planning counselors.

Typical Duties

• Counseling individuals one-on-one and in a small group setting with predesigned college planning lesson plans.
• Conducting application and personal statement workshops.
• Assisting and advising students with college application needs and concerns (which may include: essay review, application assistance, etc.).
• Making necessary teaching plans and homework assignments based on student’s needs.
• Updating student progress information for parents and students periodically.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum BA/BS degree from a prestigious school with relevant degree.
• Student counseling experience preferred.
• Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience working with high school age kids are a big plus!!!
• Must be punctual and responsible.
• Must be able to work the entire summer school and/or school year.

Working hours and compensation based on subject and experience.
