The College of Information Sciences and Technology at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a part-time, in-person teaching position at University Park Campus for Fall 2026.

Duties include teaching one or more courses: CYBER 221, CYBER 262, CYBER 362, CYBER 366, CYBER 451, IST 220. Applicants must possess a master’s degree or equivalent experience, and be committed to teaching diverse learners; prior teaching or professional experience is preferred.

• Preference given for prior teaching experience and professional experience in a relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person at University Park Campus for Fall 2026.

• Contribute to course planning, assessment, and student support.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) invites applications for a part-time academic job to teach in person at University Park Campus for the academic term of Fall 2026.

Job duties to include teaching one or more of the following courses:

• CYBER 221 Overview of Information Security
• CYBER 262 Cyber Defense Studio
• CYBER 362 Cybersecurity Analytics Studio
• CYBER 366 Malware Analytics
• CYBER 451 Network Security
• IST 220 Networking and Telecommunications

Requirements, qualifications, education and/or competencies: Applicants must possess a master's degree or equivalent experience and education and be committed to teaching learners at all levels and from all backgrounds; preference given for prior teaching experience and professional experience in a relevant area.
