Fresno City College is seeking a Part-Time Faculty Pool College Nurse to support student health on campus. Responsibilities include clinical care, health education, and referrals to appropriate resources, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and following college policies.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in nursing with a California Public Health Nurse certificate or California School Nurse Credential, plus demonstrated equity-minded practice and experience with diverse student

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s in nursing and a California Public Health Nurse certificate or California School Nurse Credential.
• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded practices.

Aufgaben

• Provides clinical care including preventative care, health education, assessment, treatment and referrals.
• Adheres to health services policies and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Presents health education and wellness resources for students.
• Maintains confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA and laws.
• Utilizes electronic medical record systems.
• Collaborates with campus departments to meet health needs and referrals.
• Serves as a health promotion resource and participates in outreach events.
• Fulfills duties of instructors as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
• Other duties as assigned.
