Job summary

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is hiring part-time summer interns to support Walnut Creek Church’s collegiate ministry program. This internship offers the chance to engage with college students while developing evangelistic skills and spiritual maturity.

The role involves building relationships with Spurgeon students and helping to lead other young believers. Ideal candidates should be enrolled in a Bible college and entering their Junior year by Fall 2027.

Compensation is set at $20/hour.

Walnut Creek Church exists to make authentic disciples of Jesus Christ who love and worship him in all they do.

Campus Fellowship is a collegiate ministry of Walnut Creek Church (WCC) aimed at “making disciples…and teaching them to observe” (Matt. 29:19-20) college students at 5 secular colleges around the greater Des Moines area.

We are hiring part-time summer interns to serve in WCC’s collegiate ministry summer programming. We are aiming to develop relationships with Spurgeon students who have a desire for pastoral and/or evangelistic ministry in domestic or global contexts. This internship will put you in the middle of participating in and learning with our staff alongside other college students from WCC and develop opportunities to evangelize and help lead other young believers.

This internship will be custom designed to meet your internship requirements.

Requirements: Enrolled in a Bible college, Entering Junior year or older in Fall 2027, growing in character and spiritual maturity.

Compensation : $20/hr
