Job summary
Guilford College in Greensboro, NC seeks a College Librarian to lead Library and Learning Technologies during a time of transformation. The role oversees LLT teams, budgets, policies, and strategic direction for access to digital and physical resources.
The Librarian partners with the College Archivist, supports Open Educational Resources, information literacy, and innovative teaching with current technologies, while promoting an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
Qualifications
- Master's in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
- Five+ years of leadership in academic librarianship.
- Strong knowledge of information literacy, copyright, and OER.
- Experience with library ILS (OCLC WMS) and digital resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead Library and Learning Technologies operations and budget planning.
- Partner with Archivist and Special Collections for policy and planning.
- Advance information literacy, Open Educational Resources, and digital scholarship.
- Govern and support digital and physical library resources and spaces.
- Collaborate with faculty to deliver innovative instruction and research support.
