Declo High School in Declo, Idaho, is seeking a positive, organized Para/College and Career Advisor to support high school students academically and in college/career readiness. You will work with students, staff, families, and community partners to help students succeed and prepare for their next steps.

Responsibilities include individual and small-group support, helping with applications, scholarships, and college visits, and assisting with events and career exploration activities.

Qualificações

• Requires an Associate's degree or 32 college credits or passing the ParaPro test.
• Strong communication, organization, and technology skills preferred.
• Experience with high school students or college/career planning helpful but not required.

• Help students explore college, career, trade school, military, and workforce opportunities
• Assist with college applications, scholarships, financial aid resources, resumes, and job applications
• Share information about scholarships, career opportunities, college visits, and important deadlines
• Support college and career events, job shadowing, and career exploration activities
• Work closely with the counselor, administration, and teachers to support student needs
• Assist with student supervision and other school duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have an Associates Degree or a minimum of 32 college credits or pass the ParaPro test.
• Strong communication, organization, and technology skills are preferred.
• Experience working with high school students or knowledge of college and career planning is helpful but not required.
