Job summary

Premier College Prep Academy is seeking dedicated college admissions counselors to guide high school seniors and their families through the college application process, including essay development. You will use our curricula to coach students in admissions strategies and timelines.

The role involves managing a caseload of up to 10 students, communicating progress to parents and the Director, and collaborating with the admissions team to help students gain admission to top-choice colleges.

Qualifications

• Must have strong writing skills and the ability to guide students through college applications and essays.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required to manage a caseload of up to 10 students.
• Interpersonal skills are essential for communicating with students, parents, and Directors.
• Graduate students are welcome to apply and may bring advanced perspectives to the program.
• Must be available for the entire summer program (June–August) and continue through December.

Responsibilities

• Provide college admissions counseling to high school seniors and parents.
• Guide students through applications and essays using our curricula.
• Manage progress for a caseload of up to 10 students and report progress to parents and Director.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to help students gain admission to top-choice colleges.
• Attend periodic meetings for professional development.
