Job summary

Palm Beach State College seeks an adjunct/part-time instructor to teach college courses and develop discipline-related curricula. The role includes assessing student learning, participating in program evaluation, and aligning activities with the College’s mission and strategic plan.

Responsibilities include maintaining college standards, managing schedules, and collaborating with faculty to review curricula.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Physical Education or Exercise Physiology OR Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Physical Education or Exercise Physiology.
Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Professional or similar; Utilize Canvas Learning Management System and other instructional technologies.
Ability to: Interact positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices; develops manuals regarding College policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
Analyzes class and program needs of the College.
Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses.
Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
