As a Collective Staff Trainer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Mission Command Training Center. You will play a crucial role as a Training Specialist Advisor. You will help ensure that today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Collective Staff Trainer joining our team to act as a recognized technical expert in the base labor category description and functions as the highest-level individual contributor in at least one warfighting function (WfF).

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science required
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge and ability to train individuals in the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and command post operations.
• Experience in operations, planning, and training requirements at a battalion and higher level (Division or Corps) and have a background in training management.
• Thorough understanding of Sustainment and C2 and their inter-dependencies with the other warfighting functions.
• Successfully served as a former battalion S3, XO, or SPO in a Sustainment unit.

Preferred Skills:

• Serve in any of the following positions: Sustainment Battalion Commander; Combat Training Center (CTC) Observer/Controller; Small Group Instructor; SAMS or lead planner; Primary or deputy general staff officer.
• Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to correspond and communicate with senior military leaders.
• OIF/OND/OEF experience.
• Working knowledge of scenario development.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,569 - $130,651. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
