Job summary

Sentry Credit, now part of the TrueML family, is expanding our Everett, WA operations and growing into Lenexa, KS. This onsite role emphasizes customer engagement, negotiation, and meticulous record-keeping to support debt resolutions in a compliant, empathetic way.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service or collections, strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a clear path for career growth within the fintech/debt-collection space.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in customer service, contact centers, collections, or a related client-facing role.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive consumer engagement by guiding conversations to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Negotiate and problem-solve with consumers to create viable repayment plans.
  • Master multi-system navigation across software platforms for real-time updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications and account activity across channels.
  • Uphold quality and compliance, demonstrating empathetic debt recovery.
  • Communicate clearly, de-escalate tough situations with active listening.

Onsite Work & Physical Requirements

This is an onsite position based in our local office and regular, in-person attendance is an essential function of the role. The position requires collaboration, participation in in-person meetings, access to office resources, and partnership with cross-functional teams.
This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment and involves computer-based work, including extended periods working at a computer, using standard office technology, and communicating through verbal, written, and digital channels. The role may require moving throughout the office and occasionally lifting or moving office materials up to <10 pounds.
