What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review claims with outstanding balances and follow up with insurers and patients to ensure successful revenue collection.
- Analyze denials, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce bad debt.
- Communicate status updates regarding collections to franchise partners and other departments within the organization.
- Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims while documenting all case activities accurately.
- Contribute billing expertise to improve training and processes for the revenue cycle management team.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience required.
- High School Diploma and additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and/or collections.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home infusion therapy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear records of activities and documentation.
- Proven knowledge and skill in utilizing MS Office suite and pharmacy applications.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience.
