The Eye Clinic of Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye and vision care for patients of all ages, including pediatric populations, across Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids. Candidates will perform routine and medical eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and prescribe corrective lenses in a patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Optometry, licensure in Wisconsin, and experience in primary care.

Formación

• OD degree from an accredited program.
• Wisconsin license or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience in primary care optometry; pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for pediatric and adult patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage refractive errors, binocular vision disorders, and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction options.
• Evaluate and manage conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, macular degeneration, conjunctivitis.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including visual field testing, retinal imaging, OCT.
• Educate patients and families regarding eye health and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers regarding referrals and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and compliance with policies.
