Qualifications

• Must hold state teaching licensure for the subject and grade to be taught.
• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commitment to student learning and achievement.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a conducive classroom environment and enforce behavior policies.
• Plan and align lessons with state standards and school curriculum.
• Develop and review lesson plans with feedback from instructional staff.
• Collaborate with special education and support staff to meet diverse needs.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents about student progress.
• Participate in school initiatives, meetings and potential extracurriculars.
