Job summary

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Care Manager to join our Behavioral Health team in Western NC. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering evidence-based behavioral health services within primary care, partnering with medical providers and interdisciplinary teams to support patients with mental health and substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Experience in integrated care, primary care, or collaborative care settings preferred.
• Experience with screening for mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology within scope of practice.
• Experience with evidence-based counseling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based, measurement-based behavioral health services within primary care.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatric consultants, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide brief evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT-informed skills, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief interventions).
• Track treatment response and follow-up using registry/EHR; document encounters and outcomes.
• Support psychotropic medication management as prescribed by medical providers.
• Refer to evidence-based psychosocial treatments and outside services as needed.
