Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Collaboration Platform Principal Engineer to lead the Collaboration Service Engineering team and serve as the senior technical authority for voice, video, and unified collaboration across the enterprise. The role focuses on reliability, governance, and modernization of collaboration services.

The candidate will oversee CUCM, CER, SIP/VoIP, Webex, Teams, and IPC trading platforms, driving strategic technology roadmaps and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience supporting enterprise collaboration, unified communications, voice, video, or telecommunications environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience leading engineering teams, technical organizations, or large-scale collaboration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and organizational leadership for the Collaboration Service Engineering team and establish service engineering standards.
• Lead incident, change management, and problem resolution to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Own strategic roadmaps for collaboration platforms and guide capacity planning and modernization efforts.
• Mentor engineers across the Collaboration Services organization and assist with hiring and onboarding.
