Job summary

The Learning Tree in Wilmington, NC is seeking a passionate Co-Lead Teacher for our Older Ones classroom. You will co-lead daily instruction, plan engaging curriculum, and provide a safe, nurturing learning space for young children.

You will collaborate with a fellow teacher to maintain routines, observe progress, and communicate with families, while meeting NC licensing standards and keeping CPR/First Aid current.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education or related childcare setting.
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children
• Must meet NC childcare licensing requirements, including background check
• Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
