Information Technology Services in Albany, NY seeks a highly experienced ColdFusion Architect for an on-site, long-term role. Responsibilities include maintenance of ColdFusion 2018+ applications, administration of servers, and implementing security with SAML/AD/ADFS.

The candidate will also work with SQL Server stored procedures, Crystal Reports, and Python-based integrations, ensuring stability and security of DER software applications. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• 84 months of ColdFusion programming experience in ColdFusion 2018+ and JavaScript programming.
• 84 months of ColdFusion administration experience on Windows and web servers, including vulnerability remediation.
• 84 months of experience with SQL Server 2016+ and developing stored procedures.
• 84 months of experience developing SAP Crystal Reports and administering Crystal Reports Server 2016+.
• 60 months of experience with Python 3.9+ and Java SE 17+.

Job Description

• 84 Months of experience in Cold Fusion programming and proficiency on Cold Fusion version 2018 and above and Java Script programming
• 84 Months of Experience in Cold Fusion Administration, Windows, Web servers, managing software and remediation of vulnerabilities in Cold Fusion 2018 and newer versions.
• 84 Months of experience programming stored procedures and using Microsoft SQL Server (Version 2016 and newer)
• 84 Months of experience developing SAP Crystal Reports and manage Crystal Reports Server administration for Crystal Report 2016 and newer.
• 60 Months of experience with Python (Version 3.9 and newer); Java SE 17 and newer.
• 60 Months of experience with security authentication using SAML/AD/ADFS.

NYSITS support many software applications written in support of DECDivision of Remediation's critical tasks. Many application are in need of dedicated support, which includes periodic database, O/S updates. For some of the applications, a series of Cold Fusion upgrades is currently underway to ensure that applications stay up to date and addresses security vulnerabilities that has been reported and make the adequate adjustment in code to the current version. Additionally, Spill HotlineResponse Notification enhancement is underway and several additional enhancement requests are in need with the inclusion of new technologies like API Calls using Python. Day to day tasks include defect resolution and customer support for DER software applications.
