Job summary

Armstrong Group is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Wheeling, IL to pull, inspect, and palletize finished products for shipping. You will operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain FIFO inventory, and ensure accurate tagging and documentation.

The role requires attention to safety and a willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a 40-hour week and full benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1–3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Experience operating electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pull finished products from the production line and stack on pallets.
• Check products for proper coding and quality on pallets.
• Ensure pallets are neatly stacked and meet quality standards.
• Wrap palletized product with stretch wrap and tag properly.
• Be organized using FIFO inventory methods and track inventory.
• Assist with unloading raw materials and shipping/receiving.
• Communicate with operations for material availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
