Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet in Boston, MA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load/unload deliveries, prepare pallets, and keep the warehouse orderly and safe. You will count and verify inventory, inspect for damages, and use forklift/equipment to construct loads while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift operation experience required.
Background check and drug screening mandatory.
Able to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk 8 hours per shift.
Willingness to work in cold environment (~35ºF).

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety of the work environment.
Facilitate loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Receive inventory deliveries.
Count and verify inventory accurately.
Inspect inventory for damages or defects.
Communicate discrepancies to appropriate parties.
Label and mark stock items.
Store inventory for accessibility.
Load and wrap stock on pallets.
Construct loads using forklift and pallet jack.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
