Job summary

C&S Wholesale Services, LLC in Lumberton, NC is seeking a Pallet Sorter to unload returned pallets, totes, and cardboard bales from store deliveries and sort them for storage or shipment.

This full-time 2nd shift runs Sunday to Thursday, starting at 11:00am until completion, with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely in a grocery warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Attendance, GED, and High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Demonstrates safety awareness and careful handling of palletized goods.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort through returned packaging and move to proper place in warehouse
• Unload returned trailer-truck's cargo hold of returned pallets, totes, and cardboard bales
• Sort pallets, totes, and cardboard bales according to truck, color, and destination
• Record data regarding amount and type of returned packaging
• Load packaging onto appropriate trucks according to vendor
• Clean work area at the end of each shift
• Travel Required: No
