Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, dock, or cold storage environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks SAFELY (certification preferred or provided by employer).
• Comfortable working in cold environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive products.
• Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition.
• Stage and organize pallets in designated dock areas for efficient loading or storage.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, ensuring documentation is completed and submitted correctly.
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or discrepancies to supervision.
• Follow cold storage handling procedures to maintain product quality and safety.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to prioritize dock assignments and meet shipping schedules.
