Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and job orders for part specifications.
• Ability to read directions from mechanical drawings and tolerances.
• Measure product dimensions with calipers, micrometers, or gauges.
• Apply problem-solving to manufacturing processes and tooling adjustments.
• Comprehend written or oral instructions and schedules for setup.

Responsibilities

• Tear down, set up and operate multiple product lines to tolerances.
• Conduct first run inspection and periodic quality checks.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Install cold heading tooling and support equipment.
• Compute feed length and progression to produce quality parts.
• Ensure processing parameters are maintained and read measuring instruments.
