Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for full-time Cold Food (Salad) positions at Fidelity - 2 Destiny Way, Westlake, TX 76262. The schedule is Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends; hours may vary and details provided at interview.

Responsibilities include slicing meats and vegetables, preparing sandwiches and salads, and ensuring quality and proper portion control. This role requires hygiene and teamwork; training and safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Previous deli experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily production schedule to prepare sandwiches, salads and other cold items.
• Prepare deli meats, cheeses, condiments and salads to standard portions and temperatures.
• Stock and replenish deli products and condiments per merchandising guidelines.
• Transport food between stations and storage areas safely.
• Store food with proper dating and rotation per HACCP guidance.
• Maintain clean and sanitary counters, surfaces and equipment.
• Operate slicing machine to prepare meats and cheeses as required.
• Coordinate with coworkers to meet service standards and cash controls.

Job Summary

Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables and cheeses with slicing machine, knives or other cutters. Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef.
• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator.
• Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas.
• Place meat, cheese or vegetables on cutting board and cut slices to designated thickness. Position and clamp meat or cheese on carriage of slicing machine. Adjust knob to set machine for desired thickness. Press button to start motor that moves carriage past rotary blade that slices meats and cheeses.
• Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
