Compass Group USA is hiring for full-time Cold Food (Salad) positions at 275 Mt. Carmel Avenue, Hamden, CT.

The role involves preparing and serving sandwiches, salads and other cold foods, following HACCP standards and food safety guidelines. The successful candidate will have prior food service experience, be able to work a varied schedule including weekends, and contribute to a clean, efficient deli operation on campus, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards.
• Stacks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments.
• Cuts meats and cheeses using slicing machine to required thickness.
• Maintains HACCP standards and sanitizes work surfaces.
• Assists with daily prep and ensures on-time service.
