House of Flavors Inc. in Ludington, MI is seeking a Palletizing Stacker for the 3rd shift. The role moves frozen finished product from conveyors to pallets using proper lifting techniques and may require forklift operation if licensed.

You will wrap pallets, document counts, and support other departments while maintaining safety and clean conditions. This is a hands-on position with at-will employment and a focus on GMPs and quality.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required along with a minimum of 3 months of work experience in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment is essential.
• Ability to read and write in order to follow simple instructions and correspond to short documents and ability to effectively present information verbally to others.
• Ability to match numbers such as product codes and to add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbers.
• Has the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or verbal instructions. Has ability to understand and apply proper lifting techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Stacks (palletizes) ice cream and wraps pallets with plastic as instructed.
• Provides accurate pallet counts and/or documentation for each pallet stacked.
• Uses a forklift, if authorized and licensed, to move finished product to the freezer or shipping area.
• Maintains a clean work area and sorts rewraps from non-saleable product.
• Checks, cleans, and maintains the tri-tray area; un-jams and resets tri-tray.
• Rotates through palletizing team and other stations as needed to cover breaks or absences.
• Helps in other departments, repairs pallets, assists with inventory, and general plant/grounds cleaning.
• Completes other duties to enhance productivity and profitability.
