Job summary

Union Square Events in Brooklyn, NY is hiring for a full-time PACK OUT - CENTRAL KITCHEN position. You will stack and pack goods for shipment in a cold environment, with a Sunday–Thursday schedule from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

Competitive hourly pay between $20.00 and $24.00, plus internal referral bonuses. The role requires previous product fulfillment experience and the ability to operate in a refrigerated setting.

Qualifications

• Previous product fulfillment experience is required.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment ( refrigerator).

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares containers for packing, ensuring containers are undamaged.
• Stacks and piles finished goods into containers; prepares goods for shipment following specific instructions.
• Verifies items pulled from packages are correct.
• Maintains database of packages.
• Completes documents to record measurement, weight and product count; tracks inventory.
• Removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
