Job summary

Small Potato Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver in Tempe, AZ. This dedicated local shuttle operation runs Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays, starting around 3:00 AM–4:00 AM and averaging 10–12 hour shifts.

Loads originate at the Tempe bottling facility and are delivered to distribution centers across AZ and NM, with live unloading and no-touch freight. The role emphasizes reliability and a clean driving record, with hazmat endorsement preferred and required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred; must obtain Hazmat within 90 days.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately one load per day to distribution centers in AZ/NM.
• Live-unload operation with no-touch freight.
• Slip-seat equipment.
• Loads begin at the Tempe, AZ bottling facility.

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,222
• Average Annual Pay: $63,581
• Top Weekly Pay: $1,464
• Top Annualized Pay: $76,140
• $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus
• Pay structure includes load pay and CPM
• Home daily, except occasional overnight runs to Chinle
• Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays
• Early morning start times around 3:00 AM–4:00 AM
• Average 10–12-hour shifts
