Job summary

Altronic LLC, a manufacturer of high-quality components for natural gas-fueled engines, is seeking an experienced manufacturing associate for winding, soldering, and assembly operations in the afternoon shift. You will follow work instructions, read blueprints, and collaborate with teammates to hit production targets.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years in manufacturing/assembly, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize winding equipment to manufacture magnetic coil windings.
• Perform hand soldering of coil windings for various sequences.
• Assemble per work instructions with hand tools and training.
• Communicate professionally with Team Leader, Supervisor and co-workers.
• Read and interpret blueprint assembly drawings to wind, assemble, and hand solder.
• Read and interpret manufacturing work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Perform basic PC tasks for winding equipment.
• Support cross-departmental needs to meet production goals.
• Provide written and oral communication among production teams.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering with process development and documentation updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Utilize custom winding equipment to manufacture magnetic coil windings
• Perform hand soldering of coil windings to create various chains of windings
• Perform assembly process based off work instructions, hands on training, and using various hand tools
• Communicate with Team Leader, Supervsior, and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner
• Read and interpret blueprint assembly drawings to wind, assemble, and hand solder the product
• Read and interpret manufacturing work instructions and assembly drawings
• Perform basic PC functions for use with winding equipment
• Willing and able to assist anywhere else in the same department or cross departmentally as needed to meet production goals
• Provide written and oral communication among the production team(s)
• Support Manufacturing Engineering as needed or process development and documentation updates
• Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Knowledge

Experience And Essential Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years' manufacturing assembly and/or machine operator experience
• Must be able and willing to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Must be organized
• Must be able to multi-task
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude a plus
• Must be able to work afternoon shift
