Sevita, through NeuroRestorative, seeks a Cognitive Retraining Specialist for a traveling role in Nazareth, PA. The position is 32 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with paid training and mentorship.

Job description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community‑based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Position: Cognitive Retraining Specialist (Full‑time)
Location: Nazareth, PA – Traveling Position
Hours: 32 hrs/week, Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm, no evenings, weekends or holidays. Part‑time (20‑25 hrs/week) also available with no on‑call or weekend work.
Pay: $20 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Full benefits for 32+ hrs/week.

About the role: As a Cognitive Retraining Specialist you will work 1‑on‑1 with 1‑3 clients per day to help them build skills for greater independence at home, in work and in community settings. Each day is unique and you will provide individualized support in client homes, community settings or volunteer/work sites.

Key Responsibilities

Training

• Two weeks of paid training followed by five weeks of mentorship
• Ongoing self‑directed Relias training throughout the first weeks on the job

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Education, Social Science or related discipline (examples include medicine, neuropsychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, sociology, counseling, rehabilitation science, recreation therapy, social work, special education, or speech‑language pathology; other disciplines considered on a case‑by‑case basis).
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, time‑management and teamwork skills.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• No prior experience required.
