Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Cognitive Neurologist to join the Miami Neuroscience Institute within Baptist Health South Florida. The candidate will contribute to dementia evaluation, memory care, and multidisciplinary patient-centered services across a prominent regional program.

Ideal applicants hold ABPN board certification/eligibility with fellowship in Behavioral Neurology or Memory Disorders; UCNS credentials are a plus. Active Florida licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Board eligible/board certified in Neurology (ABPN) with fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry (BNNP) or Cognitive Neurology or Memory Disorders.
• UCNS certification preferred for Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry.
• MD/DO and active unrestrictive medical license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Focus on dementia evaluation, neurodegenerative disease, cognitive decline, and multidisciplinary memory care.
• Contribute to quality, patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Participate in clinical services and memory care programs at the Neuroscience Institute.

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Cognitive Neurologist to join its well-established program at its Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The team, which includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, perform over 1,500 surgeries each year, and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, includes experts in a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, nonsurgical spine care and pain management, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology and neurology.

• Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with additional fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry (BNNP), Cognitive Neurology, or Memory Disorders
• Preferred candidates will be certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry (BNNP)
• Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
• Ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge in dementia evaluation, neurodegenerative disease, cognitive decline, and multidisciplinary memory care
