Peet’s Coffee, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician – Roaster to operate roasting and grinding equipment in a fast-paced facility in Minnesota. You will monitor roast profiles, ensure food safety, and uphold high quality for every batch while collaborating with a proactive team.

The role emphasizes hands-on roasting, quality checks, and continuous learning, with 2nd shift hours (Mon–Fri 3:30pm–12:00am) and a pay range of $20–$22 per hour. Eligible for bonuses and benefits available.

What You Will Do

Required

• A hands‑on, detail‑oriented problem solver with a passion for coffee and craftsmanship.

Preferred

• A strong interest—or prior experience—in the coffee industry (barista, roaster, or similar) is a plus.
• Prior experience with Caribou or Peet's Coffee is a big plus.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Exposures

• The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, in addition to the following:
• Able to work 8‑hour shifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reaching
• Must be able to work on your feet for over 9 straight hours
• Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds 20% of the shift
• Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shift
• Must be able to handle/move up to 750‑pound bins on casters
• Airborne particles, fumes, high places, moving parts, muscular strain, noise, odors, high temperatures
• These physical requirements must be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.

The target annual base salary range for this position is $20 – $22 per hour.

In addition to base pay, individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
