Responsibilities

• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond with informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with coworkers to achieve store goals and promote teamwork.
• Prepare beverage selections to recipes and standards; process transactions per company guidelines.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs.
• Operate equipment safely and label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates for freshness.
• Use coffee shop equipment (espresso machine, blender, scale, steamer) per guidelines.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the manager.
• Maintain awareness of ads and promotions; follow safety procedures.
