CCR Beverage Solutions is seeking a Coffee Equipment Technician to service commercial coffee machines. You will diagnose faults, read electrical/hydraulic diagrams, perform repairs, and document findings for each ticket.
A valid driver's license, physical ability to lift 75 lbs, and familiarity with mobile devices are required. The role involves 2–3 calls daily, company vehicle after training, and travel within the Greater Austin region.
You’re the person who fixes things before being asked.
You’ve swapped out an outlet, replaced a faucet, or taken something apart just to understand how it works. When you hit a wall, your first move is to find information — a wiring diagram, a manual, a YouTube video — not to wait for someone to hand you the answer. You enjoy coffee. You communicate clearly, in writing and in person.
If that sounds like you, keep reading. If you’re applying to every open posting this week hoping something sticks — this one probably isn’t the right fit, and that’s okay.
You’ll handle two to three service calls per day at commercial coffee accounts. Here’s what you’ll actually be doing:
Some hands‑on experience is expected — changing outlets, replacing fixtures, completing home repair projects, or similar work. You don’t need a formal background, but you shouldn’t be picking up a multimeter for the first time on your first call. The role involves stooping, kneeling, and working in tight spaces under counters. You’ll also need a valid driver’s license with a clean record, the ability to lift 75 lbs, proficiency with mobile devices, strong professional written communication skills, a reliable smartphone, and a secure address for parts deliveries via FedEx and UPS.
We’ve built a support structure so you can focus on diagnosing and fixing. A dedicated team handles dispatch, scheduling, and back‑office administrative support. Inventory is tracked digitally and reordered automatically — though you’ll assist with parts receiving and inventory counts. You’ll also need basic confidence with vehicle upkeep, like handling a flat tire or dropping the vehicle off for scheduled maintenance.
Once training is complete, you’ll receive a company vehicle and start your day from home — no office required.
At 30 days — accurate diagnoses. Speed isn’t the focus yet. Getting it right is.
At 60 days — running calls solo with minimal errors. Self‑sufficient.
At 90 days — averaging two hours or less on site. Capable and efficient.
This role requires travel throughout your assigned service territory. Occasional overnight and multi‑day travel may be required for emergency coverage, out‑of‑territory repairs, and technical training. Company‑approved travel expenses and accommodations are provided in accordance with company policy. Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time — including overnight assignments — is a required qualification for this position.
