McCaffrey’s Supermarkets in Pennington, NJ is seeking a Coffee Shop Manager to lead the coffee department, ensuring friendly customer service and profitability. This full-time role handles merchandising, inventory control, staff training, and displays while maintaining brand standards.

The position requires managing barista duties when needed, following food safety procedures, and driving department performance to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Friendly personality and “customer service” mentality.
• Carry out all merchandising programs for the department.
• Order merchandise and control inventory.
• Supervise and provide in depth training for department personnel.
• Make sure products are prepared, priced, promoted, restocked, etc. according to approved procedures while minimizing waste and maintaining maximum profitability.
• Coordinate the building of displays, signs, and the arrangement of products within the department.
• Insure favorable department image to the highest standards of presentation to increase the McCaffrey’s “brand”
• Follow all safe food handling procedures and insure that staff also complies.
• Perform all functions of Baristas in the department when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager.
