As we continue to grow our teams, we urge you to be cautious of fraudulent job postings or recruitment activities that misuse our company name and information. Please protect your personal information during any recruitment process. While Monks may contact potential candidates via LinkedIn, all applications must be submitted through our official website (monks.com/careers).

In the Retail Post Production position, you’ll handle post-production projects globally. This is a role where you’ll partner with a North American team in pursuit of awesome advertising content for Broadcast, web, radio and beyond. You’ll collaborate directly with our Executive Post Producer, principal production people (Stakeholders), and in-house editors and sound designers (Production teams) to schedule and deliver work at a consistent rate.

Our ideal candidate is a fast, flexible go-getter who takes initiative, jumps on new opportunities, and is a natural problem solver. You’re organized, technically minded, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and able to manage multiple projects at once. You don’t mind getting into the details, including repetitive or high-volume tasks that help keep a busy post-production operation running smoothly.

All About the Role
  • You’ll define delivery schedules for projects and secure deadlines.
  • You’ll review new requests from clients and internal teams to pinpoint what needs to get done and when.
  • You’ll help build the right team and resource plan for every task.
  • You’ll schedule our people and oversee the post-production process from start to finish.
  • A big part of your day-to-day is briefing team members on delivery objectives, priorities, and expectations.
  • You’ll facilitate cross-team communication, connecting multiple teams throughout the production process and making sure everyone stays aligned on priorities, next steps, dependencies, and ETAs.
  • You’ll provide clear visibility into project status, potential pitfalls, and anything that may impact delivery.
  • You’ll help create and maintain charts, schedules, trackers, and other tools that make project status and resource needs easy to understand.
  • You’ll be comfortable working in a process-driven production environment with repetitive, high-volume deliverables while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.
  • You’ll contribute to workflows and best practices, helping to implement, improve, and iterate them across every project.
  • You’ll take initiative to identify issues, solve problems, and find ways to make the post-production process more efficient.
  • You’ll work closely with editors, animators, sound teams, producers, and other internal and external partners to keep projects moving.
Experience you already have
  • You’re a passionate Post Producer with at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role, supervising post-production projects across commercial, digital, and TV/Broadcast.
  • You understand the broader production picture and what’s needed at each stage of the process. You’re able to anticipate potential blockers or slowdowns, identify what’s needed to keep things moving, and proactively provide visibility or help coordinate the next steps.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of sound mixing, VO recording, and post-production scheduling procedures.
  • You have hands‑on technical knowledge of editing and/or sound and understand the practical considerations involved in post‑production workflows.
  • You have sufficient technical know‑how to foresee and address potential production issues before they become problems.
  • You’re up to date on current software, hardware, and post‑production solutions so you can book the right resources for each project.
  • You have experience working with North American deliverables and understand the various requirements, specifications, and delivery expectations involved.
  • You have strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills and can prioritize multiple processes while keeping your cool under pressure.
  • You enjoy building charts, trackers, schedules, and organizational tools that help teams stay aligned.
  • You’re comfortable taking initiative, making decisions, and moving projects forward independently.
  • You can translate the intricacies of the post‑production process into clear, straightforward language that clients and other key stakeholders can understand.
  • You’re able to offer clients and teams practical advice across a range of post‑production matters.
  • You’re fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • You’re a collaborative team player who works well across different teams and disciplines.
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and Frame.io. Monday.com and Adobe Creative Suite are a bonus.
