Job summary

A local kids coding franchise in Scottsdale is seeking a dynamic Coding Instructor to oversee student engagement and provide a fun, safe learning environment for children. Responsibilities include training on curriculum, customizing tutoring paths, and maintaining cleanliness of the center. Ideal candidates are outgoing and have experience working with children. This part-time position offers 5-15 hours per week and a compensation range of $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Coding Instructor

Location: 14891 N Northsight Blvd #129 Scottsdale, Arizona 85260

Position: Computer Science Tutor/Instructor

Employment Type: Part Time, 5-15 hours/week

Hours of Operation: Weekdays 2p - 8p, including Saturdays 9a-4p

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for dynamic, energetic, forward‑thinking individuals who can provide a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Computer Science Tutors are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center, overseeing day‑to‑day coaching and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Train and master the curriculum
• Create a positive, safe environment for student growth
• Work with multiple children simultaneously on diverse curriculum paths, providing customized tutoring based on individual learning styles
• Provide feedback to parents after sessions
• Maintain cleanliness of the center throughout the day
• Report daily and weekly to the Center Director on progress and activities
