Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services, an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, seeks an outpatient coder with 3+ years of experience in coding outpatient surgery, observation and ED cases. Expertise in Epic and 3M 360 is required, with the majority of the 8-hour shift between 8am and 5pm CST.

Candidate must maintain 95% coding accuracy and adapt quickly to new workflows, technologies, and multi-specialty coding across cardiothoracic, orthopedics, GI, ENT, OB/GYN and ED.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in coding outpatient surgery, observations and ED cases.
• Epic Experience.
• 3M 360 Experience.
• Able to work M-F with the majority of the shift between 8a-4p CST.
• Able to pick up new workflows and technology easily.
• Able to ramp up productivity in 4 weeks.
• Maintain 95% accuracy in all coding.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Job description

Outpatient coder with 3 + years of experience in coding outpatient surgery, observation and ED. Must be experienced in coding medical and surgical cases for multi specialties to include but not limited to: cardiothoracic, cardiology, interventional radiology, orthopedic, pulmonology, GI, ENT, general med/surgery, OB/GYN and ED. Epic and 3M 360 experience is required. Schedule is 8 hours Mon - Fri with 75% of shift between client's regular business hours of 8am and 5pm CST
