Qualifications

• Experience with pipe welding on carbon steel, stainless steel and alloys.
• Ability to pass ASME 6G Pipe Welding Test.
• Read blueprints, drawings and welding specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Weld in accordance with approved WPS and welding codes.
• Weld using SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), FCAW processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and weld symbols.
• Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, fitting and fabrication.
• Maintain weld quality to meet inspection standards.
• Safely operate welding and related shop equipment.
• Complete required weld documentation and quality records.
• Follow company, client and OSHA safety policies.
