Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a project manager for code compliance projects. You will review plans, provide technical support, conduct inspections, monitor performance and budget, prepare proposals, and attend project site meetings.

You will mentor and train building inspectors, assist with P&L, and engage in marketing and business development to grow our client base. Must have ICC certifications B2, M2, P2, E2 and at least five years of code compliance inspection

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review.
• Mentor and train other building inspectors.
• Must hold valid ICC certification B2, M2, P2, E2.

Responsibilities

• Manage code compliance projects, review plans, provide technical support, and attend project site meetings.
• Assist with P&L management and marketing by developing client interactions and participating in business development related to code inspections.
• Resolve technical and administrative problems during projects.

• This position involves project management of code compliance projects, including reviewing plans, providing technical support, conducting inspections, monitoring project process for performance and budgetary conditions, proposal preparation, as well as attending project site meetings, and assisting with the resolution of technical and administrative problems
• In this position you will be expected to mentor and train other building inspectors
• Responsibilities also include assisting with management of P & L, marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions, and participating in marketing and business development functions related to code inspections
• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review
• Must have valid ICC certification B2, M2, P2, E2
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required
